Birkholz - McClellan
Samantha Ann McClellan and Patrick Wayne Birkholz were united in marriage Saturday, June 10, 2006 at First Christian Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Douglas Shoaff officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lee Elder of Greenwood, W.Va.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Arthur Birkholz of Terry, Mont.
Michele Finley was maid of honor. William Birkholz, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Jessica Kaba, Jamie Cain, Christie Cain, Lindsey Cain, Taylor McGuire, Daniel Mains, Glen Miller and Kyle McGuire.
A reception was held at Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2003 graduate of Technology Education College, Columbus, with an associate degree in nursing as a registered medical assistant. She is an optemetric assistant at Pittsburgh Eye Care and Laser Vision Center in Bridgeville, Pa.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Terry (Mont.) High School and a 2006 graduate of ITT-Technical Institute, Pittsburgh, with an associate degree in software applications programming. He is a sergeant in the Army Reserves and has served in both active duty and reserve capacity for over 10 years. He is a systems analyst at Paragon Asset Recovery in Coraopolis, Pa.
After a western Caribbean wedding trip, the couple will reside in Pittsburgh.
