Hobart and Gertrude (Webb) Carnes of Seymour will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary today.
The couple were married March 6, 1937, in Sevierville by Judge Allen.
Their family includes Debbie Claxton of Seymour and Lois Chiles of Canada. They have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Hobart Carnes is a retired highway superintendent of Blount County. Gertrude Carnes is a homemaker.
They are members of Providence Baptist Church in Seymour.
