Roblee - Stone
Kara Leighann Stone and Mark David Roblee were married on March 7, 2009, at five o'clock in the afternoon at North Raleigh United Methodist Church.
Dr. Brian Gentle officiated.
A reception followed at the Woman's Club.
The bride is the daughter of John Tucker Stone, Jr. and Patsy Smith Stone of Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Joseph Samuel Grasso, Jr. and Carol Ball Grasso of Batavia, New York, and David Leonard Roblee of Carson City, Nevada.
Elissa Smith Fowler, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kendall Stone Peeler, cousin of the bride; LuAnn Grasso Dilcher, sister of the groom; and Tracy Ann Holmes, Ashley Dees Johnson and Sarah Funderburg Lazar, friends of the bride.
Honorary bridesmaids were Martha Kate Jolly, Elizabeth Marie Lawrence, Marcie Smith Molnar, Melanie Ann Perryman, Cynthia Caroline Smith, and Kimberly Michelle Smith.
Gary Andrew Renno served as best man.
The groomsmen were Michael Joseph Grasso, Nicholas Shane Grasso and Darrin Leonard Roblee, brothers of the groom; Kenneth David Roblee, cousin of the groom; and Eric Roland Raymond, friend of the groom.
Music was provided by Dr. Candace Bailey, organist; Mr. Steven Baker, trumpeter; and Ms. Stephanie Dean, soloist.
The bride received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and her Master of Education in Learning Disabilities from North Carolina State University.
She has also earned National Board Certification.
Leighann teaches at Morrisville Elementary School.
The groom received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Telecommunications from Syracuse University and is the Sales Director for Government Accounts for Embarq Pacific West Region in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mark is a Major in the North Carolina National Guard and has recently completed a tour of duty in Afghanistan.
When they return from their honeymoon, Mark and Leighann will reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.
