Katherine Page Sutton and Samuel Wesley Williams were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clairsville, with the Rev. Thomas Chillog officiating the double-ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Tom Sutton of Glen Dale and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Verardi of Cary, N.C.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Mark Williams of Glen Easton.
Shelby Walton was maid of honor. Chad Farmer served as best man.
Other attendants were Tessa Ellis, Melissa Walton, Breigh Marling, Dana Hawkins, Gretchen Gill, Scott Joseph, Ryan Clark, Jason Marling, Mark Hawkins, Ronnie Gill and Shane Williams.
A reception was held at the White Palace ballroom, Wheeling Park.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 1999 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in family and consumer science/child development. She holds teaching certification from West Liberty State College. She is a fourth-grade special education teacher at Westbrooke Elementary School.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Cameron High School. He is pursuing an education degree. He is employed by Belmont Correctional Institution as a corrections officer.
After a western Caribbean Sea cruise, the couple will reside in St. Clairsville.
