Ms. Susan Gitnes Snyder announces the engagement of her daughter, Alison Beth Snyder, to William Joseph Uthe.
Miss Snyder is also the daughter of the late Robert Geoffrey Snyder.
Mr Uthe is the son of Dr. and Mrs. William Fredrick Uthe of Durham.
Miss Snyder, a graduate of North Carolina State University, is currently a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services in Raleigh.
Mr. Uthe graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is also a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services.
A September [2008] wedding in Bald Head Island is planned.
