Wilson - Stevens

Hilary Carol Stevens and Adam Clay Wilson of Raleigh were married on May 10, 2008 at two-thirty in the afternoon in the Dolphin Ridge Club gardens at Emerald Isle. Reverend Susan Hobbs officiated. A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Dolphin Ridge Club. The bride is the daughter of Curtis and Kim Stevens of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Louis and Carolyn Stevens of Raleigh, and Hocutt and Eleanor Stevens of Garner. Parents of the groom are Don Wilson of Garner and the late Nina Wilson. He is the grandson of Leon and Letha Davis of Buies Creek, and Rosa Wilson of Garner and the late Woody Wilson. Lauren Stevens of Raleigh, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Proper, Ginna Forward, and Ashley Deal of Garner, friends of the bride. Garette Wilson of Jacksonville, Florida, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jesse Wendt and Tyler Johnston of Garner, Alex Cowham of Raleigh, and Chris Conrad of Clayton, friends of the groom. Bonnie Stevens of Rockwell, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Patricia Hart of Garner, friend of the bride, was the program and guestbook attendant. Music was provided by soloist Heather Dixon of Knightdale, sister of the groom; trombonist Blake Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, cousin of the bride; and saxophonist James Williams III of New York, New York, cousin of the bride. The bride is a Certified Dental Assistant with Leahy Family Dentistry in Apex. The groom will graduate in June 2008 from Wake Technical Community College with a degree in plumbing. After a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
