Marianna Frazer Childs and Adam Bradford Roche of Atlanta, Georgia, were married April 19, 2008, at five-thirty in the evening at Christ Episcopal Church in Raleigh. Reverend Winston B. Charles officiated. A reception was held at the Carolina Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Mabon Childs Jr. of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. Eldredge Jackson Jr. of Providence, Rhode Island, and Mrs. J. Mabon Childs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the late Mr. Childs. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Miller Roche of Roswell, Georgia. He is the grandson of Mrs. William Dayle Paxton of Holiday Island, Arkansas, and the late Mr. Paxton, and Mrs. Byron Atherton Roche of Chesterfield, Missouri, and the late Mr. Roche. Laura Eldredge Childs and Margot Hilliard Childs, sisters of the bride, served as maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Nicole Bellmann, Cynthia Hatcher, Lauren Walsh, and Erin Roche and Sarah Roche, sisters of the groom. Bradford Miller Roche, father of the groom, and Samuel Evan Roche, brother of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen were Nicholas Bellmann, Michael Good, Benjamin Gutzweiler, Jody Hatcher, Brent Robida, and William Rosenfeld II. Thomas Bass III served as usher. Greeters were Mrs. Alison Beckmann and Mrs. Monica Boren. The bride graduated from Wake Forest University in 2001 and was presented at the 1998 Terpsichorean Ball. She is a paralegal with Miller McMenamy LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. The groom graduated in 2002 from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He is a banking consultant with Search America in Atlanta, Georgia. After a honeymoon trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will live in Atlanta, Georgia.
