Wendy Elaine Worsley and Dennis Alan Fullerton, Jr. were married May 10, 2008 at Orton Plantation in Brunswick County. The Reverend Craig Gaither officiated at the ceremony. A reception at Saint Thomas Preservation Hall in downtown Wilmington was hosted by the bride's parents. The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Martha Worsley of Cary. The groom is the son of Dennis and Dottie Fullerton of Wilmington. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Matron of honor was Christine Taxis Carter of Cary. Bridesmaids were Michelle Baker, Toni Carpenter, Melissa Johnson Essick, Leslie Hahn, Courtney Kibler, Angel Krulac, Amy Ludwig, Abbie Lyon, and Virginia Lyon. Flower girl was Katie Carpenter. Best man was the father of the groom. Groomsmen were Jake Andrews, Brad Breeding, Hugh Carpenter, Brian Fullerton, John Fullerton, Raymond Gardner, Juanyel Sheridan, Paul Stanley, and Matt Worsley. Ring bearers were Jacob Carpenter, and Isaac and Noah Hatcher. Following a honeymoon in Bermuda, the couple will live in Leland.
