Crowder - Lewis
Dorothy Marie Lewis and Jason Randolph Crowder were united in marriage on April 5, 2008 at four o'clock in the afternoon at St. Andrews Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wilmington with The Reverend Steven Hein officiating. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Carolina Yacht Club at Wrightsville Beach. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Everette Lewis, junior of Wilmington. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Randolph Crowder and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Louis Waldrum, both of Raleigh. Miss Ashley Gail Lewis and Miss Margaret Elizabeth Lewis, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Betsy Williams McDonald of Raleigh, Miss Dorothy Price Keever of Atlanta, Georgia, and Miss Dorothy Suzanne White of Wilmington, all cousins of the bride and Miss Anne Sterling Murchison of Charlotte. The flower girl was Miss Dorothy Isabelle Keever of High Point. The groom's father served as best man. The groomsmen were Mr. John Byron Fruitt of New Bern, Dr. Martin Scott Gould of Wilmington, Mr. Andrew Hinton Honeycutt, Mr. Harlan David Laws, and Mr. George Smedes York, junior, all of Raleigh. Ushers were Mr. Karl Greir Hudson IV of Columbia, South Carolina, and Mr. Trevor Godwin Hudson of Raleigh. Master Brayden Lewis was ring bearer. Program attendants were Mrs. Allison Andrews Goodson of Boulder, Colorado, and Miss Jennifer Leigh Stoker of Charlotte. Readers were Mrs. Leigh Dunn Hamm of Thomasville, Georgia and Mr. William Leaford Williams IV of Atlanta, Georgia. After a wedding trip to Belize, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
