Schwartz - Andrews

Margaret Marshall Andrews and Jason Lee Schwartz were united in marriage on April 26, 2008 at The Chapel at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. The Right Reverend Clifton Daniel, III and the Reverend Thomas Clifford officiated. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Prospect House. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Jernigan Andrews of Tarboro and Mr. Richard Lewis Andrews of Tarboro. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Roberts Harrell Jernigan, Jr. of Ahoskie and the late Mr. Jernigan, and of Dr. Bob Barcus Andrews of Lumberton and the late Mrs. Andrews. The groom is the son of Mary Margaret Cavanaugh of Berkeley, California, and Mr. Bryan Lee Schwartz of Nanuet, New York. He is the grandson of Mr. John Cavanaugh of Haddonfield, New Jersey, and the late Mrs. Cavanaugh, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Schwartz of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Elizabeth Judd Andrews of Charleston, South Carolina. The bridesmaids were Sarah Rapelye Cowherd of Cambridge, Massachusetts, Josephine Elizabeth Horsey of Dover, Delaware, Lauren Elizabeth Kapsky of New York, New York, and Elizabeth Christian Seaton of Atlanta, Georgia. Brian Nolan Kearney of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, served as best man. The groomsmen were Richard Lewis Andrews, Jr. of Raleigh, brother of the bride; Scott Richard Mullen of Wallingford, Pennsylvania; Nicholas Barry Sylvester of Brooklyn, New York; and Jeffrey Aaron Vinikoor of Princeton, New Jersey. Scripture readers were Lisa Reid Manning of Port Republic, Maryland, and Henry John Costa, III of New York, New York. Organist Eric Plutz provided the music. The bride graduated from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia, and Princeton University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Classical Archaeology from the University of Pennsylvania. She was presented at the 2002 North Carolina Debutante Ball where she was an assistant leader. The groom graduated from Saint Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Princeton University. He has earned a Master's degree in Bioethics and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in History and Sociology of Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Following a wedding trip this summer, the couple will reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
