Given by her father, Jennifer Lee Edwards wed Carl Pierson Hoverstad April 12, 2008 at Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh.
Pastor David Horner officiated the afternoon ceremony.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at The Dail Club in C. Richard Vaughn Towers at Carter-Finley Stadium.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Swenson and Carolyn Lee Edwards of Raleigh.
She is the granddaughter of Harvey Edwards and the late Ernestine Edwards, and the late J.Whitfield and Frances Lee, all of Wilson.
The groom is the son of Keith Hoverstad and Laura Perry, both of Raleigh.
He is the grandson of Herbert and Helen Hoverstad of Manlius, New York, and the late James and Elizabeth Deubler of Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
The couple graduated from Millbrook High School in 2002 and from North Carolina State University in 2006.
The bride receieved her Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
She is employed with the Wolfpack Club in Raleigh.
The groom is employed with Premiere Sports Travel in Cary.
Following a honeymoon cruise, the couple will live in Raleigh with their miniature schnauzer, Murphy.
