Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Dean Althaus of Holly Springs.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Althaus of Leesburg, Florida, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Nola Boyd of Wellington, Ohio.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Fuquay-Varina High School.
The bride graduated from Elon University and is an editor at Pace Communications.
The groom is a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and is an air traffic controller.
After a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple will live in Cleveland, Ohio.
