Anna Damara McDougald and Jeffrey Scott Stallings were married on December 29, 2007 at five o'clock in the evening at the Longview Center in Raleigh. Reverend Neusom Holmes officiated the ceremony. A reception followed at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Capital City Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley R. Johnson of Clarkton, and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew P. McDougald of Raleigh, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Riley Evans of Clarkton, the late Mr. and Mrs. A.G. McDougald of Clarkton, Mrs. Lola Johnson of Fuquay-Varina and the late Mr. Ray Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bennett of Fayetteville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Whitney of Fayetteville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Stallings of Greenville, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kermit L. Stallings of Red Oak, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Fenner Griffin of Rocky Mount, and the late Mrs. Frances Stallings of Red Oak. Ms. Paige Pearson of Beaufort served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Corey Evans of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Falon Moore of Wilmington, Katherine Fuller of Raleigh, Patricia Wells of Raleigh, and Summer Greer of Raleigh. Samantha Evans of Cary, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. Mr. Kenneth L. Stallings, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Josh Johnson of Raleigh, Perry McDougald of Boone, Ethan Johnson of Clarkton, Brandon Manning of Greenville, and Jack Allen of Winterville. Cole Evans of Cary, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. The bride attended Peace College. She is employed as a supervisor at Windsor Pointe Retirement Community in Fuquay-Varina. The groom will graduate from North Carolina State University in May 2008. After returning from a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
