Kipke - Holmes

Leslie Brookes Holmes of Raleigh and Richard James Kipke III of Wilmington were married October 27, 2007 at five-thirty in the afternoon at Jones Chapel, Meredith College. Dr. Edward Gunter officiated. A dinner and dance reception was held at the Wake County Shrine Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Holmes, Jr. of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Sonja Pinyoun of Raleigh, and Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Holmes, Sr. of Garner. Parents of the groom are Richard James Kipke, Jr. of Greensboro and Judith Kipke of Wilmington, Delaware. The bride graduated from Garner Sr. High School in 1998 and Meredith College in 2002. She is a clinical research associate with PPD in Wilmington. The groom graduated from Southeast Guilford High School in 1996, the University of North Carolina in 2000, and Wake Forest University School of Law in 2004. He is an attorney with Kipke and Rose, PA in Southport. After a honeymoon trip to Napa Valley, California, the couple will live in Wilmington.
