Alice Bynum Brame and Robert Joel Merritt, junior were married on July 21, 2007 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Durham.

The reception was held at Bay 7 in the American Tobacco Campus.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Robert Marshall Brame and Mrs. Martha Bynum Brame of Mebane and Durham.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Joel Merritt of Wilmington.

After their honeymoon in Portugal, the couple will reside in Wilmington.
