Simmons - Dawson
Emily Charlotte Dawson and Matthew Jeffery Simmons were married Saturday, August 11, 2007 at the Duke University Chapel in Durham.
A reception followed at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club.
The bride is the daughter of Christopher and Jennifer Dawson of Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Mark and Barbara Simmons of Boca Raton, Florida.
The bride earned her Bachelors degree from Duke University and her Masters degree from the University of Miami.
She is employed as an undergraduate admissions officer for Emory University.
The groom earned his Bachelors degree from Duke University and his Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami.
He is employed as an attorney for Nelson, Mullins, Riley and Scarborough.
After a honeymoon trip to Italy, the couple will reside in Atlanta, Georgia.
