The groom is the son of Beverly Quarles of Raleigh and the late Leo Thompson Quarles.
He is the grandson of Blair Abernathy of Maiden and the late Katherine Abernathy, and the late Walter and Ida Quarles of Raleigh.
The couple honeymooned at the Four Seasons in Maui, Hawaii and now resides in Raleigh.
