Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ray Osborne of Raleigh announce the marriage of their daughter, Leah Jo Osborne, to Jason Jent Deans. The ceremony took place on Saturday, October 13, 2007, at four o'clock in the afternoon at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Raleigh. Reverend Ron Deans, father of the groom, and Reverend Scott Sukeforth, uncle of the bride, officiated the double ring ceremony. The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Earl Harris of Pantego, and Mr. and Mrs. Hassell Ray Osborne of Pinetown. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron E. Deans of Bailey. He is the grandson of Audrey Nichols Williams of Sims and the late William Bartley Williams, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elton Deans of Bailey. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Mrs. Meredith Hairr Groves of Holly Springs served as matron of honor. Miss Chance Nicole Andrews of Raleigh, Miss Elizabeth Graham Blackman of Fremont, Mrs. Quincy Taylor Caspar of Fuquay Varina, Mrs. Margaret Hodges Curtis of Tupelo, Mississippi, Miss Cara Ann Lancaster of Brooksville, Florida, Mrs. Christina Allen Lyon of Fuquay Varina, Mrs. Angela Miller Stewart of Raleigh, and Miss Phyllis Marie Westerman of Raleigh served as bridesmaids. Miss Katherine MacKenzie Groves of Holly Springs served as junior bridesmaid. Mr. Douglas Frank Stewart, III of Raleigh served as the best man. Mr. David Randolph Batten of Greenville; Mr. Mark Bowen Fleming of Raleigh; Mr. James Brett Keeter of Gastonia; Mr. Michael Aaron Lay of Raleigh The Honorable Patrick Timothy McHenry of Cherryville; Mr. Leroy Ray Osborne of Nashville, Tennessee, brother of the bride; Mr. Stephen Grant Osborne of Apex, brother of the bride; and Mr. Stephen Paul Smith of Avon served as groomsmen. The bride graduated from Wake Christian Academy and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is employed by Medical Insurance Services, Inc. The groom graduated from Wilson Christian Academy and attended Campbell University. He is a political consultant and a small business owner. After a honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
