Angel Mia Feimster and Joshua David Montoya were married on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at four o'clock in the afternoon at Doubletree Suites Hotel in Durham with The Reverend Steven Lyons officiating. A reception was held following the nuptials at the Doubletree.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Gloria L. Feimster of Raleigh and the late Sylvan H. Feimster Jr.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jorge Montoya of Raleigh.
The bride was presented in marriage and escorted by her uncle, Bobby A. Feimster of New York, New York, and her mother.
Germaine L. Forte of Charlotte, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Aprile R. Lester of Raleigh, cousin of the bride; Tanya Montoya, sister of the groom; and Shay Bustamante of Atlanta, Georgia, friend of the bride. Safiya Daggs of Garland, Texas, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
The groom chose his father, Jorge Montoya, as his best man. The groomsmen were Steven Daggs of Garland, Texas, cousin of the bride; Raul Guerra of New Jersey, cousin of the groom; and Marco Sate and Jay Winfrey of Raleigh, friends of the groom.
Tanya Montoya and Elisa Smith served as readers. Dr. Julia P. Davidson, close friend of the family, was the wedding director.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner and dance at Carmen's on Friday evening, March 31, 2006.
After the wedding trip, the couple resides in Raleigh.
