Tant - Sykes
We finally did it! After almost fifteen years, Barbara Jinnett Sykes and A C Tant of Raleigh were married April 1, 2006, at five-thirty in the afternoon on the white sandy beach of Hawks Nest Bay on St. John Island, United States Virgin Island.
The ceremony was officiated by Minister Anne Marie Porter.
The honeymoon was spent at Caneel Bay in St. John.
The bride is the daughter of the late Bruce and Evelyn Jinnett of Santee, South Carolina, and formerly of Durham.
The groom is the son of Mae Tant of Roanoke Rapids and the late Joseph Tant.
Fifteen years ago, the couple met at Branch Banking and Trust in Raleigh where they both are still employed.
Mrs. Tant is a Vice President and Mortgage Loan Officer at the North Ridge location in Raleigh.
Mr. Tant is a Vice President and a Field Examiner with the Commercial Finance Division.
The Tants will continue to reside in Raleigh.
