Carr - Porter
Paula Gayle Porter and Anthony Lee Carr of Raleigh were married December 3, 2005, at five-thirty in the afternoon at Trinity Baptist Church in Raleigh. Dr. Jeffery Roberts officiated. A reception was held at the Wake County Shrine Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Lyndon, and Mr. Wayne Porterof Kernersville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Keyes of Raleigh, and the late Terry L. Carr. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Blanche Booth of Apex. Maid of honor was Amanda Beck of Raleigh, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ami Porter of Charlotte, sister-in-law of the bride; Lori Bloomer of Raleigh, friend of the bride; and Ellen Adams and Cynthia Blevins, of Kernersville, cousins of the bride. The best man was Thomas W. Keyes, step-father of the groom. Groomsmen were Geoff Hagge of Willow Springs, Mark Futrell of Raleigh, Eric Foley of Clayton, Lewis McCullen of Greenville, South Carolina, friends of the groom, and Christopher Porter of Charlotte, brother of the bride. Ushers were Richard Harley, Michael Lenihan, and Robert Porter of Raleigh. The bride, a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, is employed at Mosaic Tile in Raleigh. The groom, a graduate of East Carolina University, is employed as a sales representative with FayBlock Materials of Fayetteville. After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Raleigh.
