The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John Broadus Funderburg of Raleigh.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Frances Love Thomas of Charlotte and the late Mr. Frealon Ed Thomas.
The matron of honor was Mary Moore of Apex, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica and Samantha Moore of Apex, nieces of the bride; Elizabeth Hinson of Conroe, Texas, niece of the groom; and Pia Thomas, sister-in-law of the groom, and Ditte Thomas, niece of the groom, both of Goose Creek, South Carolina.
Flowergirls were Lisa Thomas of Goose Creek, niece of the groom, and Sarah Funderburg of Wilmington, goddaughter of the bride.
The best man was Ed Thomas, Jr. of Goose Creek, South Carolina, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen were Jerry Hinson, Jr., brother-in-law of the groom, and Tommy Hinson, nephew of the groom, both of Conroe, Texas; Eddie Moore of Apex, brother-in-law of the bride; and David Trueblood of Raleigh, friend of the groom.
Ringbearers were Joseph Funderburg of Wilmington, godson of the bride; and Eddie Thomas III of Goose Creek, nephew of the groom.

The bride graduated from North Carolina State University and is employed as a Project Administrator in Information Services at State Employees' Credit Union.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University and is employed as Associate Director of The Crafts Center at North Carolina State University.
After a honeymoon trip kayaking, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
