Logan - Youngblood
Molly Wood Youngblood and David Andrew Logan of Raleigh were married June 17, 2006, at three o'clock in the afternoon at White Memorial Presbyterian Church. The Reverend Doctor Arthur Ross III officiated. A reception followed at the Cardinal Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edward Youngblood, Jr. of Raleigh . She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Robert Newlin Wood of Raleigh and the late Mr. Wood, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Edward Youngblood of Sneads Ferry.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pressley Logan of Raleigh. He is the grandson of Mrs. Carl Usry Patterson of Raleigh and the late Mr. Patterson, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Alexander Logan of Ellenboro.
Sisters of the bride, Marion Youngblood of Atlanta, Georgia, and Katherine Youngblood of Raleigh, served as maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Cynthia LeGrande of Asheville, cousin of the bride; Kendra Boehme of Jupiter, Florida; Caroline Brown of Atlanta, Georgia; Kristin Cason and Kristen DeMars, both of Columbia, South Carolina; Sarah Milkovich of Raleigh; and Gianna Piccione of Tempe, Arizona.
John Logan, father of the groom, served as his son's best man. The groomsmen were Adam Andrews, Cliff Bullock, and Jeff Taylor, all of Raleigh; Rett Haigler of Winston-Salem; George Jenkins of Greenville; Drew Manley of Orlando, Florida; Chris Myers of Leesburg, Florida; and Dax Vandevere of Charlotte.
Emily Brooks served as the reader. Kelsey Logan and Megan Reynolds acted as greeters.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the Carolina Country Club.
The bride graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in journalism. She recently completed her first year as a teacher.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in political science. He is employed with Triangle Commercial in Cary.
After a honeymoon trip to the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
