Ginger Lea Poindexter and Matthew Blair Caporal of Raleigh were married June 17, 2006, at five-thirty in the evening at First Presbyterian Church in Burlington.The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Donna Lamm Poindexter of Burlington, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ervin Poindexter of Franklin. Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Michael David Caporal of Charlotte.The matron of honor was Jill Poindexter Plunkett of Burlington, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Molly Ryan and Kristen Ange of Raleigh; Lea Cosentino of Wilmington; Lauren Ryan of New York City, New York; Emily Browne of Apex; Anna Juby of Charlotte; and Jill Jones of Falls Church, Virginia, sister of the groom.Michael Caporal served as his son's best man. The groomsmen were Todd Caporal of Irvine, California, brother of the groom; Clay Plunkett of Burlington, brother-in-law of the bride; Rich Jarman of Belmont, cousin of the bride; Adam Weaks of Wrightsville Beach; Matt Kimball of Tuckerton, New Jersey; Ben Johnson of London, England; and Joey Garner, Wes Thompson, Brian Bennett, Dave Norris, and Daniel Adams of Charlotte. The ushers were Jim Robertson of Atlanta, Georgia, and Ryder Witter of Charlotte.Program attendants were Sara Reason, Susie Jasso, and Suzy Shannon of Raleigh.The bride graduated from North Carolina State University. She is a market research specialist with Progress Energy.The groom graduated from North Carolina State University. He is a global product engineer with Sony-Ericsson.After a honeymoon trip to Bermuda, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
