Alice Catherine Banks and Kevin Charles Littlewood of Morrisville were married at six o'clock in the evening on January 28, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church in Asheville. Reverend Sheila Barrick of Raleigh and Reverend Pete Peery of Asheville officiated. A reception was held at Country Club of Asheville after the ceremony.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Barber Banks of Winston-Salem. She is the granddaughter of Mr. John Iuele of Winston-Salem and the late Mrs. Alice Kathryn Iuele, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Pendleton Banks of Winston-Salem.Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert Littlewood of Raleigh. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank DeYoung of Asheville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Littlewood of Schenectady, New York.Theresa Anne Banks of Winston-Salem, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Zech of Raleigh, sister of the groom; Mary Kate Dula of Charleston, South Carolina; Rebecca Whitfield of Elkin; Sara Gindhart of Boynton Beach, Florida; and Katherine Wilson of Asheville. Gillian Zech of Raleigh, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.Charles Littlewood served as his son's best man. The groomsmen were John Pendleton Banks of New York, New York, brother of the bride; Ian Zech of Raleigh, brother-in-law of the groom; Eric Lallemand of Boca Raton, Florida; Scott Marguerat of Atlanta, Georgia; and Brad Malpass of Raleigh.Special helpers were Mrs. Morgan Lasater of Burlington and Miss Catherine Lengers of Charlotte.After a Caribbean cruise, the couple will live in Morrisville.
