Truex - Grandstaff
Kelly Nicole Grandstaff and Richard Bryan Truex were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004 at The Barn, Moundsville, with the Rev. William Stokes officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Diane Grandstaff of New Martinsville and the late Jack Grandstaff.
The groom is the son of Richard and Marla Truex of Moundsville and Lorna Truex of Martins Ferry.
The bride was escorted by David Grandstaff. Tina Mullett was matron of honor. Richard Truex, father of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Kori Helmic, sister of the bride; Jennifer Foltin, sister of the groom; Lindsay Brenneman; Victoria Carpenter; Paige Foltin; Brad Helmic; Eric Foltin; Kaine Howard, brother of the groom, and Tom Knizner.
A reception was held at The Barn.
The bride is a graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College with a bachelor's degree in biology in 1996 and a bachelor's degree in medical science in 2000. She is employed as a certified physician's assistant with Dr. Jeffery Earley in Pine Grove.
The groom is attending Belmont Technical College. He is scheduled to graduate in 2005 with a degree in multimedia and computer graphics. He is employed as a skills trainer at Evergreen Behavioral Health Center, New Martinsville.
After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, the couple will reside in New Martinsville.
