He is the grandson of Mrs. Elizabeth Sigman Shepard of Raleigh and the late Mr. Vernie H. Shepard of Raleigh, the late Ms. Peggy Norman Myatt of Raleigh, and the late Mr. Frank A. Burgess of Garner.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Raleigh.
