Reverend David Van Dyke and Reverend Robert C. MacSwain officiated at the double-ring ceremony. A reception was held at the Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Louis Hug of Seattle, Washington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John William Sutcliffe of Okotoks, Alberta, Canada, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fritz Hug of Cawston, British Columbia, Canada.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Clifton Bailey junior of Rocky Mount. He is the grandson of Mrs. Dorothy Zimmerman Barnhill of Tarboro and the late Mr. Robert Edward Barnhill senior, and Mrs. Anne Weaver Bailey of Rocky Mount and the late Mr. Clyde Clifton Bailey senior.
Tara Rae Lommel of Seattle, Washington, and Emilie Claire Van Dyke of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, friends of the bride, served as maids of honor. After a honeymoon trip to Cape Cod and Nantucket, Massachusetts, the couple will live in Raleigh and join the family company, Bailey's Fine Jewelry, after completing internships in New Orleans, Louisiana.
