Kimberley Elise Rose of Cary and Alexander William Macklin V of Holly Springs were married August 7, 2004, at six o'clock in the evening at First Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. Reverend William V. Grisham officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Anthony McBride of Rocky Mount. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret Miller of Fuquay-Varina, and the late Mr. Charlie Lloyd Wall Jr. of Smithfield.
Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Alexander William Macklin IV of Cary. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grady John Jones of Johnsonville, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander William Macklin III of Frankfort, Kentucky.
Mrs. Sara W. Grey of Durham, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Miss Eleanor S. Martin, Mrs. Robin B. Clark, and Miss Sherri A. Redwine of Raleigh, friends of the bride.
Dr. Alexander William Macklin IV served as his son's best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Jonathan C. Macklin of Henderson, brother of the groom; Mr. John A. Jones Jr. of Monroe, and Mr. Jeffrey A. Jones of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, cousins of the groom; and Mr. Lee Harris of Raleigh, friend of the groom.
Mr. C. Ryan Wall of West Palm Beach, Florida, cousin of the bride was the Scripture reader.
The bride graduated from East Carolina University. She is the Marketing Administrator with American Kennel Club Companion Animal Recovery in Raleigh.
The groom graduated from Campbell University. He is a Vice President and Mortgage Account Executive with Crescent State Bank in Holly Springs.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Holly Springs.
