The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Gatewood of Pelham. The groom is the son of Dr. James Crumpler Jr. of Atlantic Beach, Florida, and Mrs. Stephanie Crumpler of Winston-Salem.
The bridesmaids were Leigh Hines of Raleigh, and Elizabeth McCracken and Caroline Crumpler of Atlanta, Georgia. The honorary bridesmaids were Tracy Appling-Biel of Cary, Lynn Fahning of Greenville, Tennessee, Barbara Ellerman of Hebron, Kentucky, and Debi Panke of Bothell, Washington. The flower girl was Caroline McCracken of Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. James Fulton Crumpler Jr. served as his son's best man. The groomsmen were Doug McCracken of Atlanta, Georgia, and Hank Davis of Winston-Salem. The ring bearer was Alex McCracken of Atlanta, Georgia.
The bride graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and is employed by the State of North Carolina as the Assistant Human Resources Director for the Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in Raleigh.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Management. He is employed by Logicom Computer Systems in Raleigh.
After their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple resides in Raleigh.
