Jennifer Anne Allen and Jacob Hamilton Morgan of Raleigh were married August 7, 2004, at four o'clock in the afternoon at First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. Reverend Bob Inskeep officiated. A reception was held at the Cardinal Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kenneth Allen of Raleigh. Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Mark Sidney Morgan of Raleigh.
Kimberly Allen of Raleigh, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Anna Morgan of Raleigh, sister of the groom; Brooke Mangum of Lenoir; and Shaunis Day and Erin Harden of Cary.
Mark Morgan served as his son's best man. The groomsmen were Morgan Moore of Miami, Florida, and Jon Kaczmarski, Joe Akinc, and Matt Bayley of Raleigh.
Betsy Sell was the wedding director.
Virginia Vance organist and Jim Smith soloist provided music.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held on August 6, 2004, at Caffé Luna for the wedding party and guests.
The bride graduated as a Park Scholar from North Carolina State University with a degree in Business Management. She is currently a third year law student at Campbell University.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a software developer.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Raleigh.
