The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Duvall King Jr. of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. D.C. Hooks of Raleigh, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Duvall King Sr. of Raleigh.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. James H. Kropp Sr. of San Diego, California. The groom is the grandson of Mrs. Nicholas Budzilowski of Ozone Park, New York, and Mrs. Herbert Kropp of Brooklyn, New York.
The bride majored in Social Work with a minor in Sociology at North Carolina State University. Mrs. Kropp is a Support Broker with Arc of North Carolina.
The groom majored in Business Management and Marketing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Mr. Kropp is a Registered Sales Assistant with Davenport & Co., LLC.
After a honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia, the couple will live in Raleigh.
