Feore - Reeves
Christina Lee Reeves and Jason Walter Feore of Raleigh were married Saturday, July 17, 2004, at seven o'clock in the evening at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Raleigh. Father Jerry Sherba officiated at the ceremony. A full dinner reception, hosted by the bride's parents, was held at the Capital City Club after the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Clifford and Candace Reeves of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Gloria Cason of Raleigh and the late Samuel Peyton Cason, and Lee and Jim Reeves of England.
Parents of the groom are John and Joanne Feore of Raleigh. He is the grandson of the late Anita and Walter Saul of Smithtown, New York, and Norma Feore of Clayton and the late Joseph Feore.
The bride was escorted by her father. Her gown, designed by Madeline Gardner, was English net with embroidery and beading. The bodice and straps were detailed with floral embroidery and embellished with clear sequins and crystals. Decorative embroidered flowers were scattered on the full skirt and cascaded onto the eight foot, royal-length train. She carried a clustered bouquet of cream, white and blush pink Ecuadorian roses with stephanotis and tips of variegated foliage.
Lauren Victoria Reeves of Raleigh, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, and Angela Culbreth Ridge of Raleigh, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Shelley Blake and Jill Feore of Raleigh; and Summer Sanford of Ashburn, Virginia.
Nikia Watson of Raleigh, friend of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were John Feore Jr., Justin Brown, Brannon Gray, and Robin Turner, all of Raleigh.
The bride graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Business Administration. She was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority.
The groom attended North Carolina State University and studied Business and French. He is the owner of Joseph Motors, Inc. in Raleigh.
After a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple will live in Raleigh.
