Morgan - Walsh

Nicole Marie Walsh and Walter Vernon Morgan were married March 6, 2004, at three o'clock in the afternoon at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Mark Reamer officiated. A dinner and dance reception was held at the Brier Creek Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth James Walsh of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Harold and Maria Smith of Fayetteville, and the late Bill and Lucille Walsh of Rancho Mirage, California.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Truett Morgan Jr. of Severna Park, Maryland. He is the grandson of Margaret Dursey Timberlake of Alexandria, Virginia, and the late Claude Vernon Timberlake, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Truett Morgan Sr. of Wilmington.

The bride wore a Christos designed ivory silk faille gown with beaded Venise lace and braid. She carried a bouquet of ivory and porcellana roses.

Ms. Asheley Raynor Potts of Atlanta, Georgia, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Ms. Candace Faye Allred and Ms. Christy Michelle Rendel of Raleigh; Mrs. Stephanie Michelle Couch of Fort Mill, South Carolina; Ms. Amanda Sue Panetta of Annapolis, Maryland; Ms. Sally Timberlake Morgan of Charlotte, sister of the groom; and Mrs. Maria Catrin Walsh of San Diego, California, sister-in-law of the bride. Jessica Morgan Biggins and Kayleigh Reese Mize were flower girls.

Mr. Timothy Scott Mehok of New York, New York, served as best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Jason Neal Emerick of Chicago, Illinois; Mr. Vincent John Hardick, Mr. Jason Andrew Silva, and Mr. Eric Jason Wexler of Annapolis, Maryland; Mr. Joseph Paul Mundt of Columbus, Maryland; and Dr. Brandon James Walsh of San Diego, California, brother of the bride. Christopher Jordan Barschaw was the ring bearer.

The program attendant was Nicole Lindsay Barshaw. Guest book attendants were Madeline Chenoweth and Beverly Sacknoff. Scripture reader was Kathleen Walsh of Irvine, California.

A bridesmaids' luncheon was held at La Residence in Chapel Hill. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Margaux Restaurant in Raleigh.

The bride graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The groom graduated from the University of Maryland and is currently employed with Black and Decker.

Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple now resides in Durham.
