Harding - Matheson

Jennifer Anne Matheson and John Paul Harding of Cary were married August 5, 2003, at Glacier Gardens in Juneau, Alaska. A reception, honoring the Hardings', will be held in September at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Paul Wood of Raleigh, and the late Donald Lee Matheson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jones Davis of Salisbury, Mrs. Frank M. Matheson of Statesville, and the late Mr. Frank M. Matheson of Taylorsville. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert William Harding of Rutherfordton. He is the grandson of Mrs. Lenore M. Wilga of Rutherfordton and the late Mr. Chester A. Wilga of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stanley Harding of Sabastian, Florida. The bride graduated from Peace College with an Associate of Arts degree and Meredith College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. The groom graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. After a honeymoon in Alaska, the couple will reside in Cary.
