Ginger Michelle Rea and Matthew Reid Jenkins were married on August 16, 2003, at six o'clock in the evening at University United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend William H. Gattis. A reception was held at La Rsidence in Chapel Hill after the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clyde Rea of Rock Hill, South Carolina. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Michael Gethen Jenkins of Raleigh. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Louis R. Muller, Mrs. Bill Vickers, and the late Mr. Gethen Jenkins. The matron of honor was Mrs. Kristen Eagerton of Aiken, South Carolina. The bridesmaids were Miss Melanie Covington and Miss Stacie Diehl of Atlanta, Georgia, Miss Christine Lawing of Charlotte, Mrs. Tonya McKee of Johnson City, Tennessee, and Mrs. Ashley Snelwar of Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Darren Hudgins of Washington, D.C. served as best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Douglas Burke of Chapel Hill, Mr. Mikhail Blinov of Washington, D.C., Mr. Jack Galbo of Raleigh, Mr. Robert Smallwood of Dallas, Texas, and Mr. Matthew Upton of San Francisco, California. Readers were Mrs. Heather Anderson of Greensboro and Miss Dianna Wood of Orlando, Florida. The parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner on Friday evening at the Carolina Inn. The bride graduated from Appalachian State University and is an accountant with Liggett Vector Group. The groom graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He formerly was a manager with Ernst & Young Consulting in Washington, D.C. and is currently an Intern Associate with Intersouth Partners in Durham. After a honeymoon in St. Thomas, the couple will make their home in Chapel Hill.
