Butch - Cordery
Tara Dawn Cordery and Bret Joseph Butch were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at First United Methodist Church, Bellaire, with the Rev. Donald Cordery and the Rev. Thomas Jones officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Donald and Debbie Cordery of Bellaire.
The groom is the son of Vincent and Gaylene Butch of Alliance, Ohio.
Tonya Cordery was maid of honor. Kevin Butch served as best man.
Other attendants were Andrea Shallcross, Jennifer Casey, Tia Burgy, Christy Rodenberger, Jaela Thoburn, Adam Kurena, Adam Shallcross, Brian Costa, Chris Peters, Chad Kilmer, Sarah McAninch, Andrew McAninch, Gabrielle Smolenak, Shane Smolenak, Hannah Croy, Laura Morrison, Paula Reiter, Erica Mendelson and Steve Shallcross.
A reception was held at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2003 graduate of Mount Union College with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is employed by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district as a kindergarten teacher at Davidson Elementary School.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of West Branch High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor's degree in business management. He is pursuing a master's degree in math at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. He is employed by the Gaston County school district as a seventh-grade math teacher at Mount Holy Middle School.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, in December. They reside in Huntersville, N.C.
