Emily Layne Harris and Nelson Hagan Crichton were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at Heritage Golf Club, Hilliard, Ohio, with the Rev. William O. Webster officiating the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are James and Cecile Harris of Mount Pleasant.
Parents of the groom are Mary Beth and H. Nelson Crichton of Yorkville.
Erin McFarland was maid of honor. Ian Marconi served as best man.
Other attendants were Brandi Meddles Knight, Devin Barry, Victoria Luyster, Sarah Webster and Rachel Webster.
A reception was held at Heritage Golf Club.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2003 graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of science degree in human ecology. She is employed by Tuttles Grove as a leasing consultant. She also is a certified judge for Americheer and Ameridance.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Linsly and a 2003 magna cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts degree in finance. He is a second-year student at Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. He is employed as a research assistant by the College of Law.
A wedding trip to Curacao is planned in January. The couple will reside in Galloway, Ohio.
