Nicole Louise Miller of San Carlos, California, and Stphane Victor Vincent Canale of Boulogne-Billancourt, France, were married October 19, 2002, at two o'clock in the afternoon at Duke University Chapel in Durham. The Reverend Rosemary Noga Welton officiated the service of worship and celebration. A reception was held at The Cardinal Club in Raleigh. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Norris Miller Jr. of Raleigh. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Alfredo Mario Canale of Vincennes, France. Aleisa Fishman of Washington, D.C., college classmate of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Ivan of San Carlos, California, and Nicole Kinnan of New York, New York, friends of the bride. Philippe Gard of Montrouge, France, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Samuel Gonzlez of New York, New York, friend of the bride; Cameron Miller of West Palm Beach, Florida, cousin of the bride; and Steven Miller of San Carlos, California, brother of the bride. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's family, was held at Caff Luna on Friday evening. Patricia Hudson, Susan Kroupa, and Patti Nance hosted the bridesmaids' luncheon at Chamomile Cottage. The bride received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Duke University, and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University. She is vice president of Online Learning for FIRE Solutions, Inc. in San Francisco, California. The groom graduated from l'Ecole Pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avances in Paris. He is a technical business consultant for EMC Computer Systems in France. After a honeymoon trip to Mauritius, the couple will live in Boulogne-Billancourt, France.
