Allison Lynne Bishop of Clayton and Jacob David Stevens of Garner were married Saturday, November 23, 2002, at two o'clock in the afternoon at Aversboro Road Baptist Church in Garner. Reverend J. Dan Hudson and Dr. Harvey Whaley officiated the double-ring ceremony. After the ceremony, a reception was held at Garner Church of God in Garner. The bride is the daughter of Aaron and Melody Johnson of Clayton, and Gene and Glenda Bishop of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Steve and Betty Pollard of Clayton, and Graham and Alene Holland, Evelyn Bishop of Raleigh and the late Eugene E. Bishop Sr. Parents of the groom are Timothy and Donna Stevens of Garner. He is the grandson of Donald and Mary Wade, and James and Evelyn Stevens of Garner. The bride graduated from Wake Christian Academy in 1999, and Wake Technical Community College with a degree in Accounting in 2001. She is an accounting assistant with CES Mail Communications, Inc. in Raleigh. The groom graduated from Garner Senior High School in 1999, and from Wake Technical Community College with a degree in Automotive Technology in 2002. He is employed with Don Jenkins Ford in Fuquay-Varina. After a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the couple will live in Clayton.
