Nguyen - Spate
Jody Ann Spate and Jason Paul Nguyen were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Morgantown, with the Rev. Ken Ramsey officiating.
The bride's parents are Jim and Cindy Spate of McKeesport, Pa.
The groom's parents are Lamson and Karen Nguyen of Glen Dale.
Jenny Spate, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Lamson Nguyen, father of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Jennifer Nguyen, sister of the groom, and Adam Spate, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the Ramada Inn, Morgantown.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of McKeesport Area High School and a 2004 graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in exercise physiology. She is employed at Mon General Hospital in cardiac rehabilitation.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2003 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor of science degree in family and consumer sciences with an emphasis in nutrition. He is scheduled to receive a master's degree in nutrition from WVU in May. He is a dietetic intern.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Morgantown.
