Ashley Elizabeth Antonucci and Michael Joseph Anthony of Raleigh were married November 2, 2002, at three o'clock in the afternoon at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Father Mark G. Reamer, Order of Friars Minor, officiated. A reception was held at Longview/The Poe House. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Thomas Antonucci of Raleigh. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lena Goldberg of Raleigh, the late Mr. George Goldberg of Girard, Ohio, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Antonucci of Girard, Ohio. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Michael Anthony of Raleigh. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hatem of New Bern, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex Anthony of Laurinburg. Angela Conner Wilkerson of Nashville, Tennessee, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were sisters of the groom, Shelly Patrice Anthony of Charlotte and Kimberly Ann Anthony-Stone of Durham; cousin of the bride, Gina Marie Aulisio of Gainesville, Florida; Amy Dru Baldwin of Louisville, Kentucky; Amy Elizabeth Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee; and Laurie Ann Richmond, Michelle Lynn Richmond, and Katherine Frances Seymour of Raleigh. Honorary bridesmaids were Anne Marie Aulisio of Gainesville, Florida, Erin Alyse Barr of Durham, Christina Kay Cameron of Chapel Hill, Jennifer Harper Spangler of Raleigh, and Kristy Salem Willeford of Wilmington. George Michael Anthony served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were brother of the bride, Anthony George Antonucci and cousin of the groom, Jeremy Christopher Harper of Raleigh; Gerad Tracy Johnson of Holly Springs; Ryan Taylor Lisk of Wilmington; Ronald Samuel Reitz II of Wake Forest; cousin of the groom, Casey Joseph Salem of Charlotte; brother-in-law of the groom, Robert Kurtland Stone of Durham; and Jeffrey Allen Willeford of Wilmington. Ushers were James Michael DiVito of Charlotte; Christopher David Spangler of Raleigh; and Michael Thomas Vouvounas of Denver, Colorado. Nephew of the groom, Kaleb Michael Stone of Durham, served as the ring bearer. The bride received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a first grade teacher at Durant Road Elementary School in Raleigh. The groom received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a loan officer with Mortgage South. After a surprise honeymoon trip to Turks and Caicos, the couple will live in Raleigh.
