Zegar - Chappell

Stephanie Kathleen Chappell and Brian Ian Zegar of Raleigh were married October 19, 2002, at eleven o'clock in the morning at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Monsignor John Wall officiated. After the ceremony, a reception was held in Saint Michael's reception hall. The bride is the daughter of Jane Teeter and Mike Oniffrey of Chapel Hill, and Barbara Fredrickson and Jeff Chappell of Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is the granddaughter of Neta and the late Jim Teeter of St. Petersburg, Florida, the late Margaret Teeter of Wilmington, and Frances and the late Tom Chappell of Wilmington. Parents of the groom are Laura Jane and Rich Zegar of Apex. He is the grandson of Marguerite and the late Mark Schaut of St. Mary's, Pennsylvania, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Zegar of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Scott Chappell escorted his sister down the aisle. Friend of the bride, Julie Bowman of Raleigh, served as maid of honor. Sister-in-law of the bride, Jen Chappell of Raleigh, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were friends of the bride, Jessica Chamness of Chapel Hill, Deana Vernon of Apex, and Amy Kampfer of Raleigh. Rich Zegar served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were friends of the groom, Derek Crone, Todd Hosig and Chris Kemp of Raleigh, and brother of the groom, A.J. Zegar of Charlotte. After a honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia, the couple will make their home in Raleigh.
