The Reverend Robert Bauman officiated the ceremony.
Afterwards, a reception was held at the Cape Fear Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Russell Lane, Jr. of Wilmington.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vincent DiStefano of Raleigh.
The bride is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the groom is a graduate of Appalachian State University.
Both are employed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will live in Raleigh.
