Mary Dawnett Vickers and Thomas Charles Stern were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004 in First Christian Church, Cameron, with the Rev. Walter McNutt officiating the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Larry and Vickie Pegg of Cameron and Thomas and Janet Vickers of Moundsville.
Parents of the groom are Thomas and Pamela Stern of Cameron.
Amber Vickers, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Joel Courtwright served as best man.
Other attendants were Allison Gates, Jill Persinger, Laura O'Neil, Becky Winters, Abbey Boram, Jenna Boram, Garrett Boram, Darren Stern, John Bonar, Justin Stern, Jon Stoneking and Rob Winters.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2002 graduate of Belmont Technical College with a degree in phlebotomy. She is employed at Uwanta Linen Co. in Wheeling.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Cameron High School and a 2002 cum laude graduate of Fairmont State College with a degree in criminal justice. He is employed at the Northern Regional Jail in Moundsville.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in Cameron.
