Levens - Brown

Kelley Elizabeth Brown and Edward Sean Levens of Holly Springs were married October 5, 2002, at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary. Dr. Albert Edwards officiated the double-ring ceremony. A reception was held immediately after the ceremony at the Country Club. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Erwin Brown of Savannah, Georgia, and Mr. and Mrs. David James Dolan of Holly Springs. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Alexander Levens of Hackettstown, New Jersey. Cara Maureen Hayes of Wilmington served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brenna Margaret Spillane of Cary, Cristina Adele Pasqua of Hoboken, New Jersey, and Mary Margaret Paen of Wilmington. Brother of the groom, Scott Edward Levens of Hackettstown, New Jersey, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Richard Battey of Seattle, Washington, and Michael Paul Smith of Raleigh. Ushers were Timothy Raybourne Batchelor of Charlotte, and Kevin Joseph Cleary of Clemmons. Aunt of the bride, Margaret Ann Stephens, and aunt of the groom, Mary Adair Levens served as greeters. Friends of the couple, Mary Elizabeth Smith and Koka E. Booth were the readers. The groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Caff Luna in downtown Raleigh. Events preceding the wedding included bridal showers, a cocktail party, and a luncheon, given by family and friends of the bride and groom. After a honeymoon trip to Amelia Island and Hawaii, the couple will live in Holly Springs.++
