Heather Lorraine Barnes of Raleigh and Christopher Randolph Vann of Rocky Mount were married September 14, 2002, at Church of the Good Shepherd in Rocky Mount.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Linda W. Barnes of Roper, and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Barnes of Rocky Mount.

Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Randy Vann of Rocky Mount.

After a honeymoon trip to St. John and Virgin Gorda, the couple will reside in Rocky Mount.
