Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Lanny Newell of Raleigh, and Mr. Kip Baker and Mrs. Leni Newell Baker of Raleigh.
He is the grandson of the late Mrs. Mitzi Levine and the late Mr. Sam Levine, and Mrs. Lilian Newell of Chapel Hill, and the late Dr. Nathan Newell.
Elizabeth Mann of Raleigh served as the maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Pease, Crystal Hughes, and Holly Roan, of Raleigh, and Dara Price of Greensboro.
Honorary attendants were Mary Tripp, Nicole DeFeo, and Meg Koester, of Raleigh.
Tori and Emily Pateuk of Alpharetta, Georgia were flower girls.

After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Raleigh.
