Jennifer Stow Wilder and Erik Peter Kristiansen, both of Newport Beach, California, were married June 22, 2002 at four o'clock in the afternoon at Davis Street Methodist Church in Burlington.
Reverend Susanne Cloyd Hultman officiated.
A reception followed the ceremony in the gardens and courtyard of Burlington's historic railroad depot.
The Gregg Gelb Quintet performed at the reception.
The bride is the daughter of Randel and Michael Wilder of Burlington.
Parents of the groom are Patricia and Jan Kristiansen of Raleigh.
Friends of the bride and groom, Christy Wisuthseriwong, pianist, and Doug Drewek, soprano saxophone; brother of the bride, Jack Wilder, trumpeter; cousin of the bride, Will Ray, soloist; and church organist, Dolly Shaw, provided music.
A rehearsal dinner/dance, hosted by parents of the groom, was held at the Alamance Country Club.
Guests danced to music provided by the Castaways. The bride is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work.
She is employed as a Social Worker with Olive Crest Foster Care Agency in Newport Beach, California.
The groom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Music Performance and a minor in Information Systems.
He is an Independent Consultant.
After a honeymoon trip to Little Palm Island in Key West, Florida, the couple will live in Newport Beach, California.
