The wedding was held at Montgomery United Methodist Church in Montgomery, Texas, with Pastor Andy Noel officiating. A dinner and dance reception followed at Havens Landing. On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Vernon's Kountry Katfish.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride selected an exquisite gown of eggshell organza and satin. The dress was accented with ivory embroidery. One hundred and twenty eight satin bridal buttons marked the closure of he Empire-waistline organza skirt and sweep train, adding interest to the back of her elegant gown. A veil with a pearl tiara and coordinating organza jacket with three-quarter length sleeves with French cuffs completed her ensemble. The bride carried a beautiful cascading bouquet of roses made by her grandmother Rita Loftin of Douglas, Texas.
The bride's sister, Cheryl Chance, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shaunda Oliver, friend of the bride, and Elisabeth Osborn, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids wore formal merlot, empire waistline gowns. They carried non-traditional pomander bouquets made of teacup roses in shades of burgundy and pink with pale yellow accents. A handle was fashioned from satin ivory cord with matching tassel hung beneath the pomander. The flower girl was Marissa Kuciemba, goddaughter of groom. The bride's house attendants were Judy Blackburn, Ashley Blackburn, Amy Smith, Kristie Smith, Kelly Blackburn and Karrie Jones.
James Kuciemba, lifelong friend of the groom, served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Dr. David Carwille, lifelong friend of the groom, and Dan Osborn, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Jerome Smith, James Springer, and Larry Blackburn.
